Category: Environmental

In celebration of PCL Week, the Philippine Councilors League – PalimbangChapter spearheaded a tree planting activity that brought together councilors, local officials, and dedicated volunteers in a unified effort to promote environmental sustainability. Held in Lambayong, the initiative served as a powerful symbol of leadership rooted in ecological responsibility and community engagement.

Beyond planting trees, the event cultivated a spirit of camaraderie among participants and reaffirmed the commitment of Palimbang’s local leaders to climate action and reforestation. Each seedling planted represented a pledge to nurture the land, protect biodiversity, and contribute to the long-term resilience of the region. The activity also aligned with national goals to mitigate climate change and restore degraded ecosystems, reinforcing the role of local governance in advancing environmental stewardship.

Through this meaningful endeavor, the Philippine Councilors League – Palimbang Chapter continues to lead by example, demonstrating that true leadership is rooted in action, collaboration, and care for the environment. By mobilizing local officials, volunteers, and community members in a shared mission to restore and protect Lambayong’s natural landscape, PCL Palimbang reinforces the vital role of local governance in advancing sustainable development.
